scrapcycle

This thesis work is the culmination of years spent learning about sustainability, fabric, sewing, manufacturing, and design. The goal was to tackle textile waste by creating a new material from the scraps. Through experimentation and testing, I developed the Scrapcycle textile: a non-woven moldable fabric. Scrapcycle goes hand-in-hand with designing products that integrate the material’s properties with the object’s function.
